Lift is on my XJ, now for the tires

Lift is done, now it's tire time. Has anyone bought, or know anyone who has bought tires and wheels from Tirepackage.com? Excellent prices.

Looking at 31" Trxus, and Rockcrawler Series 97 rims. They look like Soft 8's. Opinions on these rims?

Thanks.

I've never heard anything bad about the rock crawlers, and you can get the 31X11.50/15's and 15X8 rock crawlers through 4wheelparts for $700.00
Usually mounting and balancing are free if you buy both from them. You can get new lugs and caps for another $40.00 too I think...

Kim,

If you'd just buy my rims/tires you wouldn't have to worry about any of this...

I didn't hear from my guy today on prices of the TrXus. Maybe I'll just give him a call tomorrow for ya. I'll PM ya on GLXJ.

I've been looking at the same package from same site. They have the best price i've seen. Is the lifetime warranty worth it? The fine print if i recall correctly, is pretty limited.

Good question. I went to Interco's website and could find NOTHING about ANY warranty from them on their tires. Surely they have some kind of warranty though. If not, at least you would have a warranty thru TirePackage.com. I believe it was full replacemant for the first 50% of tread. After that it is prorated. They will reimburse you for any costs you pay for puncture repair. AND they cover them if they are used offroad, some places don't.

I feel that since they ship for free if you purchase the warranty, it is worth it. They deduct $58.00 shipping charge, and add $99.00 for the warranty. The warranty is only costing you about $41.00.

Just my .02 worth. Oh, and by the way, DON'T buy MY set!
