Lift Kits and SYE

I am looking at buying the rustys 4.5" lift kit w/ spring pack...i have a 2wd Jeep and i was wondering if a SYE is needed (if im not mistaken I dont have a slip yoke to eliminate)....and is there anything out there thats better, but remember i am in college and broke

You should still have a slip yoke, but with the 2wd you have a much longer driveshaft and the angles will be a lot less at 4.5" than a 4wd model with 4.5". You shouldn't need anything at 4.5" of lift.

You can lower the transmission if needed.

use the money that you would spend on the ring to do a 4wd conversion and load up and drive to the backwoods. Live there, off the land, for 5-10 years. When you come back, you'll have a lot more money to spend on the Jeep without having to worry about dieing.

haha instead i might just sell my current jeep and buy a 4wd jeep (cherokee or wrangler). and also save for a ring. and also live off the land (already got a farm, just not farming alot right now, more like still clearing a lot for fields). readyyyy BREAK!
