leaky injector

anybody ever seen a fuel injector actually leaking externally?

also, what type of lube (if any) would you use to ease reassembly of fuel rail to injectors? i was thinking about a touch of silicone assembly lube. . .

Little help here? Has anybody seen a fuel injector leaking externally? I am trying to isolate the leak, and it is a biotch. Already replaced the seals. . .

yeah i had the same problem on my other cherokee, i thought it was just the o-rings so replaced them all but it was leaking around where the top plastic part meets the body of the injector. i dont know if it is in the same area as yours but i think that when they start leaking like that then there is nothing to do but replace them, if anyone knows otherwise correct me. hope that helps ya.
