Lack of Power on Acceleration

Hey all,
My jeep, 1989 Cherokee 5 Speed Manual Trans. IL 6 CL 4.0 ,
On cold start for the morning, I turn the key, it starts but idles @ about 200 rpm's
sometimes it quits sometimes it bounces back and stays at about 400 rpm's which is normal for this jeep. I back out, put it in 1st gear, rev up to 1,200 rpm's and let off the clutch, and it feels like someone dropped an anchor for 3 seconds, and sputters, then picks up fine. I also notice it does it in all gears up to 3rd. It also backfires, any ideas?

Here's What I've changed out in it already this past few months before it would even stay running! :

O2 Sensor, 2 Bad fuel injectors, spark pluggs, dist. cap, computer, cat, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, Vaccum Lines (all of them :-) , and just recently cleaned out the air filter. Any Ideas?

Check and see if the choke pull-off is opening the choke far enough, this can only be done on an absolutely cold engine, to get it right, it can be adjusted, but I find when you do it on an engine that stands overnight, you have the best results.

Take the air cleaner off, and hit the gas, the choke will close, all the way, when you try to start the choke pull-off should open the choke to give the engine enough air to run, on high idle, but smooth, not like a fuel dragster(loaping)
get familar with the adjustment, it doesn't take much movement to make a difference.
But first make sure the pull off is working, either with a hand held vaccume pump, or start it and watch, as the engine starts the pull off should retract slowly, also check the little hoses, sometime the get brittle and loose vaccume and will act like the pull off isn't working, so check those first...Good luck
