Kick Down Cable Adjustment?

I just discovered that i could adjust this. Trans shifts smooth now but do i need to fine tune it or readjust my TPS? I followed the instructions but its leaves my Throttle almost wide open that way. I pushed the plunger back in little by little until the throttle arm just touches the little stopper screw. Shouldn't it do that by itself with my having to do it? Should I just swap in a new on?

No need to adjust TPS. The cable is supposed to self adjust. Just leave enough slack that it doesn't hold your throttle open. Maybe the thickness of a penny as the amount of slack in the tV cable.

Trans switch in Power or Comfort? Does it light up in Power mode?
