Jeep Auto Trans Park not working

I went wheeling today, come home put it in Park and the jeep makes a clunk noise and just rolls back... any idea wat it could b thanks...

All of the other gears work fine I really hope I didnt...

ummm......shifter linkage is out of adjustment?

The parking pawl on an AW-4 is actuated by a rod driven off the main selector shaft. The rod and pawl are serviceable after dropping the pan and removing the valve body. If adjusting the linkage does not restore "PARK" function, that's where I would head next.

I need to adjust the cable on the trans I adjusted it on the shifter so its good now but it doesnt reach the trans mount I need to somehow make it longer how can I do that? Thanks guys
