Infinity Perfect 6 1/2 components in front doors?
Hello, Brand new to these forums, Glad to be here
![]() I see a couple people have installed these speakers in their front doors (I have a 99 Cherokee sport) and I was wondering how much modding you had to do to mount them. Did you have to cut a hole where the inner door panel covers the speaker? or are spacers all I need? I will be powering these with a 70x4 RMS Alpine amp (already installed under my rear seat) Thanks, Dyrty

6.5" will fit - you just have to drill 2 new mounting screw holes.
Which alpine amp? Been looking for one that fits well under the back seat as well. |

I'm using this one - Alpine MRP-F450 70x4 - a great 4 channel amp.
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=16956 It fits under the back seet on the driver side. The people I had install it said I should not worry about overheating the Amp by putting it under there. I also think Alpine under rates their amps so they might put out a little more power than advertised. I'm running a pair of older Infinity Kappas and they sound great with the new amp, but they are old and one maybe slightly blown from running them off my old deck with no amp. I thought I had to put spacers or something for the Perfects... is this not the case? Dyrty |

This is my 93. I've got Polk DX2 Euro 6s in the doors.
