My parts for my exhaust are coming in! Last night came in my manifold, today will be my cat and cat-back, and tomorrow will be my downpipe.

I can't wait to start replacing all of this on the weekend.

Full write up will also be done for those who are interested.

What downpipe did you get? Is there someone that makes one that is a direct replacement for stock?

Any special tools/bolts I should buy?

I have a complete socket yet, Metric ratchet wrenches, a full set of regular wrenches. Full set of pliers. Vice grip pliers. PB blaster. Angle grinder with cutting discs. Some other things here and there.

Anything else I should buy or get.

That down pipe may give you crap. I know I have a Tj. But with those years on the old pipes.... its like bonded hard core. A tip if you get into a predicament with that pipe from the manifold is just cut it and work from it there... But hey it may work out for you, just experience with a TJ's not a XJ.

Well I started working on this last night. It is not that hard, just a lot of work. So far I have everything off but the intake and exhaust manifolds.
