I need help quick on tire fitting issue

I found a set of 2005 grand cherokee 17" wheels for a great price. However I have a 98 xj. I have found online they make adapters for 5x4.5 to 5x5 with 1.25" spacing. Will this work out for me? Also I am not planning on using this set for anything but dd. This offer will expire tomorrow around noon. Could anyone help me out?

below is the link to the adapter.

Yeah those will work. EDIT EDIT EDIT
Might have a problem with them not being hub centric if you do put any stress on the suspension though. Wheel/hub centric is what's best. Take your chances with these

Great then. Glad I could be of help to you. I did a quick look but didn't see any hub centric ones. Just look for the lip in the pics.

That would be a hell of alot better. Good price, good company. If you can't find them cheaper then those should be what you get. Post a pic up if you jump on it after the tires are on, I'm interested on how they will look.

It's of the spacer? No. Just the side facing the rim.

I went a very similar route with my first XJ, got a deal on a set of rims and tires that were 5 on 5. So I went on ebay and found a set that they made to fit your vehicle. Probably 8 yrs. ago, and wheeled it alot, never had a problem. Except for the fact that you have 10 lugs to remove to put your spare on... Post some pics when you get it all together.

Buy the correct wheels for your application is the smartest route. Often time people spent more on spacers than new wheels would have been.

I thought the wheel side should be too. Why would they even offer the spacers if they dont offer hub centric on the wheel side. How likely is it to be an issue? I don want to waste a bunch of money on spacers.
