So, my driver's side regulator finally gave out. The notorios little plastic worm gead broke off the cable guide. I found a guy in eBay who make a kit to fix this. Awesome kit. Installed in about 20 minutes. Worked like a charm for months. Then, the motor starts grinding. I decide to buck up and just get another regulator off eBay. I get the regulator in the mail, open it up and the same goddam worm gear that started this whole ordeal was broken on the part that I just got. So, I tear the door apart and hobble the two parts into one usable part. Now the grinding is back and I'm starting to think the the cable itself is worn and skipping in the drive motor. To add insult to injury, this part used to be $150 at the dealer brand new. Now, there's been a price increase and the new part is over $300. I'm about to install a flippin' crank.
Sorry, just venting.
