Nice write-up!

The only thing I have to complain a little, some of the pics are quite blurry/ noisy. You didn't happen to take them with a cell phone camera? Anyways, pictures help, and one can get a good idea from the pics on what's going on. Great job

Hey, I didn't break any - my XJ is 16 years old, seeing lots of salty roads every single winter. On the other hand, they were pretty much the only bolts that haven't snapped on my Jeep when removing something

Hey, they weren't that bad - it's just that lately I've been browsing through a lot of different photograph- related forums (like airliners.net), so I couldn't help myself complaining a little

No worries mate, like I said great job, looking forward to your full write-up. It surely does offer a lot of help for beginners

ya im still working out the logistics on my final product for everything ive done so far. But it will be a new thread titled "Everything You Need To Know About A Lift" and will have refrences to where you can buy pretty much everything regarding a lift, how to install a lift, and a couple of other things. I just need to find some time to get it done

What does it mean to bleed your brakelines and why is it important.

Bleeding your brakes means you remove air that is trapped in the brake system.

It is very important to remove air from the brake system on hydraulic brakes because air can be compressed unlike liquids (brake fluid in this case) -> air trapped in a brake lines will make your pedal feel spongy, and also will severely reduce your braking power.

This write-up pretty much tells how to do it.. you can look for more write-ups on google. It really isn't a hard thing to do, but you might wanna have someone helping who has done it before

I'm new here...

Great step by step "do it yourself" guide.... I ordered my 4.5" lift kit for a XJ98 and I am going to install it myself but, have some questions about it...

- How did you fix the 2" sagging ( front VS rear )
- Did you install a SYE ? ( it is a must if you lift 4" or more? )

Thanks in advance for your answer and for your guide. rookies appreciate it...
