hood vent installed.
well, i'm sure you've seen these before, but not on my XJ..
of yeah, sparks from an angle grinder will screw up your windshield. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Why? I pop open the hood at the car wash and spray it out all the time. having some hood vents that let rain in wouldn't even compare to a car wash.

![]() BTW, if you use a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade, there are no sparks. And it is much faster too. ![]()

yeah, i'm sure there were other better ways to cut into the hood, but i had to use what was available...haha, plus it was a brand new angle grinder... i needed to to use!

they are vents off a lebarron turbo, usually the turbo'd lebarron's had one vent on it's hood, so you'll need to find 2 donors.
i'm hitting a j/y this weekend for a newer manifold.... i'll look around, i'm sure i can find a buyer
