hood vent installed.

well, i'm sure you've seen these before, but not on my XJ..

of yeah, sparks from an angle grinder will screw up your windshield.

Wow that looks great!! i gotta do that sometime soon. i just still owrry about the water comin pouring in on the engine and kina scares me.

Why? I pop open the hood at the car wash and spray it out all the time. having some hood vents that let rain in wouldn't even compare to a car wash.

BTW, if you use a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade, there are no sparks. And it is much faster too.

yeah, i'm sure there were other better ways to cut into the hood, but i had to use what was available...haha, plus it was a brand new angle grinder... i needed to to use!

they are vents off a lebarron turbo, usually the turbo'd lebarron's had one vent on it's hood, so you'll need to find 2 donors.

i'm hitting a j/y this weekend for a newer manifold.... i'll look around, i'm sure i can find a buyer

yeah, it's a detours...i won the ramsey winch on here a few yrs back..
