High Pinion D-44 upper and lower control arm bracket locations

i have a 1996 xj with a 6.5" Rubicon Express long arm kit. I have just bought a hp d44 front diff and a ford 9 inch for the rear. i was just wondering if anyone could tell me the easiest way to locate the new brackets on the front d44 and were to locate them.

T&T Customs, Inc. Home Page has a truss that should take care of it for you. Welcome to the forum. You can also try INWAdventures.com - - - Offroad, Pyro, Outdoors for more local guys. I know a few on there have swapped HP44's into XJ's and can offer more help.

I used a high pinion dana 30 axle and took measurements from that. I used a bevel square to get angles with and then transferred those angles to a piece of paper so I could measure it with a protractor. It is a lot easier to get the brackets right if you buy pre welded UCA and LCA brackets with the angles already on them. The LCA brackets are canted 5 degrees from parallel to the axle tube. The UCA brackets are 12 degrees off parallel to the axle tube. The more pre fab in the brackets you buy the more expensive they are (as you would expect). I put a waggy d44 on the front of my XJ and getting the UCA and LCA brackets in the right place was by far the most difficult part for me.

Wayne at AllJeep would probably do it, but I don't know what he charges. He did the gears on my D30 and my 8.25. He's up in Mead. Welcome to AllJeep.com! We are here to help you get it right...The first time!
