You know those crappy plastic window crank handles??? What have you guys done after you've broken them all off?
I could but I think think I'll end up breaking them again....ctavel said:I haven't broken mine yet, but you could probably cruise to a pull-a-part and get what you need.
I know.....I've broken a couple myself...I guess I'll run down to the U-Pull-It Lotctavel said:?????--- Yall must be muscle people or something. This may be the funniest problem I've ever heard of.
Maby you should lube the knobs so your hands slip off. Or just turn the AC on.87XJ said:Maybe I should lube the tracks
LOL!! I think that'll work best!cands said:Maby you should lube the knobs so your hands slip off. Or just turn the AC on.
It was almost 3 years ago, so I'm not real sure . . . but, if I had to guess, I'd say they were around $5 apiece. Maybe a little more.87XJ said:How much were they?
Yeah, it's a funny problem..............................until it happens to you and your A/C is no longer operational. The 87 we used to have had this problem as well. I guess the plastic didn't age very well, and after a while, they would break off both at the knob, and where the handle attaches to the door. Easy fix was to clamp a small pair of vise grips on the stud and go with that, but with no handle it does make it a little difficult to roll up and down while driving.ctavel said:?????--- Yall must be muscle people or something.
