Helpful 4 low hint

I noticed that my 96 XJ would not completly shift into low range without some difficulty and grind. Opened up the slotted plastic display for the 4x4 linkage and found that the shifter would hit against the metal of the unibody. I filed 1/8 inch of metal and the shifter is now smooth as butter. Just thought you guys would like to know.
