All I can think of is remove the valve body from the inletmanifold and try to find the clip with a magnet on a (flexible) stick.
Good luck...
Edit: assuming you are talking about the steel clip that holds the injector to the fuelrail?

It's definitely gotta come out. I'd take off the throttle body and try to find it visually. Then see if you can get one of those grabbers in there and snag it (I'm talking about the small part retriever, not your gramma's grabber). If it (can) drop into a cylinder you'll have even a harder time getting it out of there.

The other option is to remove the manifold(s). In the future, when you open holes in your engine, have some tape or gauze type pads to stuff in there to keep dirt and foreign objects out. Good luck.

Get a section of clear hose from your home improvement store that's big enough to feed into either the injector hole or spark plug hole...whichever is bigger. Slip 2" into the hose of your vacuum/shop vac and then tape the hell out of it to seal it off. Insert your clear hose and turn on the vacuum to try to suck out the clip. You could also try to blow compressed air into the injector hole w/ the spark plug out and maybe you'll get lucky and have the clip shoot out.

Vacuum or blow it out. It won't get into a cylinder if you don't start the engine, and even then, it's just plastic, it will be vaporized in the cylinder should it ever get that far.
