heated seat problem

Hello all...first post, sorry it is a question. Has anyone ever encountered the driver side heated seat button failure? Instead of being able to select hi or low it just blinks for a minute and then goes off. The passenger seat button works fine. I have already checked the fuse box and things look good from what I can tell.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Please use the search feature. There is a good write up on here with pictures. I just cant remember where. I had the exact same problem with. the little orange light flashing. Basicly your heating element wire burnt in two causing an open circuit. It is easily repaired by finding the break in the wire and resoldering. I repaired mine about two weeks ago and the heater works just as good as it did before with no noticable difference. Good luck...
