head light upgrade and driving light upgrade
well its time to do this.the oem head lights are weak at best and my driving lights died.so first off, what is the best route(for the money)do the silver stars or the conversion??and for driving lights,i was thinking of doing the ipf 868's and then a good set of for lights and running them off the factory wires??or.........will the 868 not be bright enough?maybe a 100-130 watt kc,eagle.....any ideas or thoughts would be great

I invite you to check your voltage at the light connector. Mine was reading 10.5v with the truck running. Just for S & G I ran a hot wire straight from the battery and couldn't believe the difference.
I bought those Silverstar sealed beams last year, and couldn't really tell a difference in brightness, save for a blue tinge. Took them back the same night. The Hella Vision plus had too severe a cutoff for my tastes, and you'll notice the IPF's have a cutoff as well. Most people say I'm all wrong on this, but oh well. Just my experiences.
