Harbor Freight Lights...

Has anyone had any expirence with the harbor freight off-road lights. i did a search but all i found was threads on the walmart ones. i see that they are the same price as the walmart ones only a different shape and higher wattage. are they brighter than the walmart ones or are they the same. also quality and the whole 9.... i know im not gonna be getting a whole lot of quality from a 16$ pair of lights but i figured if i could get brighter for the same price then why not (i dont have to worry about shipping cause im gonna be at my other house in escondido where HF has one of their outlets at the end of this week so i figured id just throw them in my checked bags and free shipping for me )

just so you know im talking about these lights:

I have a set on my Jeep right now. They work fine. Fairly bright. Cheap. Go for it. The price is right and they look good.

At 100watts they are pretty bright, especially if you hook them up with a direct battery 12volts through a relay. Me and a few others have run them for a couple years now and love them (I have 3 sets still in the box's as back-ups).

I had 4 hooked up to my roof rack for a little while. Ripped 3 of them off. They were a little brighter though then the wal-mart baja ones. I now have 4 of them ont he roof and though a little less bright, they have a little more flex then the harbor freight ones and have yet to be ripped off. I plan on adding an extra set of the harbor freight ones onto the front bumper and trying them out there, i have the hook up but no lights when i got the jeep. Good luck, the lights from HF usually go on sale and may be right now for 10$. Just say you lost the sale catalogue and if they have it on a sale they`ll probably give it to you.
