My Jeep is green and I painted the vents the same Hammerite black that my bumpers, sliders, frame stiffeners, and track bar are painted in. It looks nice.

Thanks Carl...

Im prob going to go with black because everything else is black on the Jeep...(axles, trim, ARB bumper, roof rack, Firestik, snorkel)

Im currently sitting about 40 ft from waves crashing at the beach so whenever I get home I'll try to get em on haha

I second painting them black, I've got the whole silver/black thing going on mine and I think mine turned out pretty good. Plus it's a LOT easier to locate semi-gloss black than it is to get the exact green your Jeep was painted, without going to a paint store and having a pint mixed up.

yea thats pretty much what I decided...

See knowin my luck, I'd go and get the green paint and it would turn out just a little lighter or darker...to the point that you could tell and it would look cheesy... and I DON'T look cheesy

BTW my friend is giving me his wrecked ZJ... a part-out thread is coming soon, but if any of you wanna call dibs on something let me know. Im getting the disc brakes, and my friend is getting the Transfer Case...everything else is up for grabs

What year? Specs? I really don't know of anything off the top of my head that I could use(already have longer coils, bigger track bar, and rear discs) but I think I might have heard something about a ZJ or WJ steering pump(can't remember which), that would go well with the Durango box I want to put in soon.

I think its a 95 or a 96...its a I6 Laredo package... back in my junior year in HS we were all driving back from Wendy's and he spun out when it started raining and got it half flipped in a ditch. He was only going like 35mph haha.

He got another one with the 4.7L I think and he used it for parts...now it has been sitting at his house for two years. I'm hopin the rotors and pads are decent so this will be a FREE disc swap

Grab the shifter handle from the ZJ for the transmission and put it on yours. It's a LOT nicer. Are the tail lights in good shape?

The shifter handle is a great mod. ZJ shift handles are cush. You have to really beat it on there with a mallet, so be careful. It's a tight fit. If it doesn't work right when you are have it down, it's not down far enough. Once I beat the ever-loving crap out of mine to get it seat properly it works great. God help me if I have to take it off...
