Although they aren't really made in the US

I can't find Rock Krawler, or Currie either...i prob wont bother with those though. I really wish BDS wasn't so day high.

Personally, I'm OK with Canada, just tell me they are made in Canada. BDS sources their springs from Canada, but their web site says 'MADE IN AMERICA'- WTF!?

WTF is right...misinformation is as bad as lying...

I sent the RC rep an PM and he is going to hook me up with some springs for a REALLY good deal

Hope they ride pretty well.

Carl, what are the cheap Yellow shocks that are made by the same company that makes the OME ones?

I'm not sure what shocks you're talking about? ARB makes Old Man EMU shocks. Did you mean to type OEM? Monroe's are usually black, Gabriel's are usually Red. Both companies make OEM shocks.

Someone who's a "regular" on here was talking about some yellow shocks that are very cheap and look just like OMEs but are made by someone else...ill hunt for it

Good to hear about your springs. I know it's been covered a lot on here, RC's customer service is top shelf

So I'm thinking a little ahead here...but when I drop these new springs in, I'd like to put in the D44 too at the same time. The D44 will have raised shock mounts as can be seen a few pages back.

What I want to know are what shocks would be best to use in the rear. It will be ~3" lift in the rear prob a little more with the new springs, and I don't carry much cargo around with me. I have the ProComp ES3000 shocks right now and can honestly say they rattle my teeth when I go over speed bumps. What would some good shocks be for someone like me who is more concerned about DD ability? This is only for the rear BTW

I am hearing good things about Monroe Sensa tracs and the New RC 2.2 shocks...ideas?

I think the MJ shocks would work well for you in the rear if you want to get Senstracs. Have not run the 2.2's myself but heard good things. I love my Sensa's.

When I installed my D44 a month or so ago I put new Skyjacker Hydro 7000s from Quardratec. I think they ride a lot better than my old ones and aren't too stiff at all. But then again my old ones were shot lol.

Well, its been a while guys...

Figured I'd let yall know what is in the works. You can thank NCSU for taking all my Jeep money haha.

Several things need to be fixed on the Jeep. Here's an overview:

-Passenger side door sill is leaking like a pregnant dog...needs replacing
-Manifold (exhaust) is cracked and needs replacing\
-Rear springs have been bent to heck for a while now
-ES3000 ProCrap shocks are about to rattle all my teeth out...need replacing
-I have a pretty looking D44 sitting in my basement begging to be hooked up
-I have a pair of LeBarons waiting to be installed.
-My roof rack is off and needs to be put back on.
-Winch needs to be reassembled
-Battery ground needs replacing.
-Head gasket is leaking'
-something is squealing BAD up front...idk what it is
-finish wiring of top fogs.
-PAINT RESTO!!!

That's a long list...and doesn't leave a lot of room for getting that 4.5 RC LA kit either. O well.

Good news is that stevieboy is selling me his 3" RC springs and maybe his shocks too. Yesterday, went to the JY and finally got an ashtray!

I have some questions i need answered...i'll post em later but thought I'd give an update.

Yea I forgot to mention the battle I had over that. In the end, i decided that having a Jeep that was already paid off and more fun was worth the cost of gas. Plus, I have to much invested in it already just to throw in the towel. Who knows, maybe in one of my Chem engineering classes I can come up with some alternative fuel source for it
