Divide the number of teeth on the ring gear into the number of teeth on the pinion.. (example) 13-T pinion 40-T ring = 3.076923

Is there no tag on the diff cover? Call the dealer and have them run your vin, that should have the ratio.

Or take the cover off and check the side of the ring gear, the ratio should be stamped on it.

Found this online:
"It may be a a code stamped in the housing that needs to be looked up in your technical service manual.

One sure fire way of determining your ratio is openning up the axle and taking a look. Often the ring is stamped with tooth count, ratio, and build date. Sometimes it isn't stamped, but you can still count the teeth yourself and divide ring teeth by pinion teeth to get the ratio."

Awesome thanks for the pointers guys. I called my dealer ship and the guy was rushing i think so he said he couldnt do it. Id really rather not pull my diff cover off but if i have to ill do it Ill check the other options first. I thought all the 5 speeds had 3.07's but i called a wreaker (looking for an 8.25) and he said that not all the 5 speeds were 3.07's
