full width jeep build

Alright so basically im pumped for this build so here it goes. As of right now i have a 1998 green xj with rusty's 8 inch long arm kit on 36x13.5x15 irok bias'. Obviously i observed quick that my toothpick axles wont do so decided to do a full width build. I just recently grabbed a high pinion d44 front and d60 rear off a 79 f250 for 450 bucks . I just ordered my new 8 lug wheels off 4wheelparts so i will have pics of those as soon as they come in. I might as well say im fairly new to the jeep scene but i am addicted so i will probably have a lot of questions being posted about this build. For now here's how the jeep sits and my axles.

d44

d60, yes someone must have had painted these blue at one time

ill have more pictures of the axles later im in the process of cleaning them up, most likely going to paint them grey, ive seen the color scheme from t&t customs rigs, lemme know what you guys think of the idea.

Looks like the start of a nice build. As long as you stuff that D44 with some alloy shafts and superjoints, it'll be able to take a little more abuse than the 30 will.

Not exactly, the rear axle i will have to locate the spring perches and shock mounts myself but for the front im buying a truss from t&t customs. Basically i can order it with the coil buckets, track bar, and radius arm mounts. All i have to do is line it up perpendicular to the ground and weld it all the way across the axle housing. It's much easer than doing it yourself, and gives the axle added strength so for 200-300 bucks i felt like it was well worth it, im actually going to be ordering that tommorow.

Great way to go. It's been a popular seller. Makes axle swaps virtually fool proof since they do most of the alignment for you.
