front wheel bearings are servicable!!!

Are the bearings serviable on an 87 limited or are they the hole hub bearing package type? Les schwab says not servicable,,, dealer says are servicable???? Hmmmm.

It's all one piece, has to be replaced. Dealer probably means it's "serviceable" because they can replace it.

Yep, just replace the whole piece, wheel studs and all... it bolts into the knuckle with 3 13mm bolts. You'll need a 12pt. socket to fit them though, so make sure you have one before you start working on it.

I got mine at schucks for 155 bucks, I suppose you might find it cheaper elsewhere if you shop around... the dealer here wanted like 220.

Yep on my 87 limited ,,dealer replaced bearing only $167.00 VS $258.00 Whole hub assembly at Les Schwab tire.
