When did they switch from the disc's being part of the hub (having to switch bearings into the new hub/disc brake) to being a slip on and off brake disc? Or are mine like that because its 2wd?

hahaha...i can't tell if you're sarcastic or serious. so i'm going to assume the latter...idiot.

you tell me if these "drilled performance rotors" are worth your life in safety over performance and when you crack one, throw a wheel and roll 40+ times, get thrown from your ride and then get crushed by it, come back to me in then and let me know how it all went down with your "performance rotors"

about 1/2 way down

another for the record. and you tell me if another 1/4" into the hub would be considered safe to drive on. tell me if it's safe to drive on now.

this is the last i reply in this thread. run them if you want but the're unsafe and i dont care what major company is producing them and what tests they've come up with to "prove" that they are safe. you have proof...twice over...that they're unsafe and should be banned from the street.

right about the drilled rotors........slotted are best and I use ceramic pads

i just orderd a set of ebc slotted and dimpled rotors and their extreme suv 7000 series pads. the dimples are like the cross-drilled, but arent drilled all the way through thereby eleminating the tendancy to crack. they should be here by tuesday

Hey guys, I know I'm new and useless so I'll try not to ask too many pestering questions. My brakes on my 00 Sport shudder on and off to the point where it has me stumped. Some days its BAD. Some days its like nothin is wrong. Either way, Im wondering what a good combination of slotted rotors and pads would be. Also wondering how big of a pain the rear drums are to adjust if im brave and change the shoes myself. Thanks!
