Front Brake Rotor size?

Hi everyone!
On my 2002 TJ I had a heck of a time when I changed the front rotors in figuring out what the proper overall height of the rotor was supposed to be.

I now notice that when shopping for a new set of rotors for my 2001 Cherokee that I'm being offered two different heights...3 3/16 and 3 1/16. I guess I could take the tire off and measure the rotor height but does anybody know which would be correct? Do I need to check the date of when my jeep was actually manufactured in order to know which rotor height is correct?

thanks for any help
Skenz

On a 2001 it's about 98% certain you will have the shorter rotor

Just look at the unit bearing hub. Read this first - Any difference in hubs...?

I just went through this with my '01. I have the 3 1/16" rotors; pretty sure you'll have the same.
