Found this near my 98 XJ engine mount. What is it?

This was near the engine mount in my 98 Cherokee. Anybody know what it
is?

Looks like a distributor hold down.

Yep, what it is. You'll need a bolt to secure it.

Thank you, that's exactly it. I had a new distributor put in earlier this year. The clowns didn't even bother to put the hold down back on. It looks like
they lost it when removing the old one and it settled down near the engine mounts. They just put the new distributor in and didn't bother fishing out the
hold down. They just bolted on the distributor without it. :/ These guys became my ex-mechanics for many reasons other than this, so this comes
as no surprise. Happily, I can just put it back on to hold the new distributor in properly, but it looks like its going to be a major league PIA to get a
wrench in that space. Thanks again! At least I know what to do with it now.
