Quick question.
I just put a new (rebuilt) 4.0L in my 1993 Cherokee, finally got it running today (chasing some gremlins, but it sounds healthy at least).
When I was bolting everything back together, I realized that I didn't index the flywheel to pressure plate alignment. :surprise: So there is is a chance i bolted it up in a different place than where it originally was. (I aligned the marks - but there are three places these marks line up, so.. I've got a 1/3 chance its in the original index location).
How big of a deal is this? Dropping the transmission / transfer-case again, and replacing everything does not sound like fun at all. (XJ is on 35s, so its a chore to get it all out).
thanks in advance.
