flat tow bar hook up?

I am picking up a 90 XJ tomorrow morning and need a quick way to temporally hook up my tow bar to the front of the XJ.
Are there spots where I can secure the tow bar to without drilling and bolting on the mounts?

You can hook up the tow bar to the plastic grill and it'll be about as secure as hooking it up to the bumper/"frame"

Just remember not to move at all....

You need to reinforce the unibody before you put any stress on it. Its not a frame.

There is none on a stock XJ. Even if you would drill it. Too flimsy.

I had a custom winch type bumper made, but with no winch, instead it has hookups for my Roadmaster towbar to hook on. That has heavy metal extensions running back along the frame beside the motor. They must go back at least 18" and bolt up in multiple places.

The whole front is just basically sheet metal and will not hold up to pulling even a block or so. You need the tie-ins to the unibody frame area where front hitches, and winch bumpers bolt to.
