Thanks for this..My steering box was leaking really bad, started this past week. It cost me $20 to fix, and it worked great! Easy job and saved alot of money

can someone help me Im in australia and have a 96 xj jeep and trying to replace the pitman arm seal with the box still in the.car. ive spent all day getting the pitman arm off now I cant see any snap ring to remove just a seal looking thing thats metal with rubber inner. is this just a dust cap with the snap ring under it?? how do you remove it to get to the snap ring??
