Firestick CB antenna mount location.... PICS!

I have a black 4' FIRESTICK antenna and I was wondering if you guys could give some opinions. Should I mount it on the passenger side rear just to the side of the taillight? OR should I mount it as far to the right as possible on the front bumper? I do have a dune flag on the right rear of the roof rack, so I dont know how they would look together on the back....

Opinions welcome!!

Anybody have any suggestions? I would like to get this done today but I just don't know where to mount it...

well mine is mounted above the driver brakelight. i like it, however you need to watch for trees on trails so you dont bend/break the bracket.

Do either you or 93x have a picture of just the bracket? Can you see any downsides to front bumper? Do you think it would look good?

and i like to have my ant in at all times, so the front bumper would bother me when i drive.

kyle has the same mount as I do. As far as looking good? Idk, you just need a good ground. I've talked to truckers two miles away like they're right next to me

not tryin to steal yer thread, but what are the cables for runnin from the fenders to the roofline? ive asked people but never got a good answer.

they keep branches and stuff off of the windshield. i think people call them limb risers

yeah, there limb risers, i think mitch is thinking about making them and starting to sell them to people with all the hardware and such, PM him and ask maybe...its gonna be way less then the like, 200 dollars worth of hardware it actually costs to get it together...pretty good deal if you ask me

The ARB Bull Bar comes with tabs on the front bumper (very top rail) and the manual says it's for CB antenna. I've never seen anyone put it there though, so i'd be interested to see what it looks like in the front bumper as well.

You could get like an 8' whip and just mount the flag to the top... i love the look of CB antennas whipping through the air.

keep in mind that mounting the antenna on either of the taillights, the antenna will slowly beat the crap out of the corner of your hatch.
