Finally finished the fenders..and the rear...pics

I got to do the "cut and fold" today on the rear, it actually wasnt as hard as I thought and turned out looking better than I thought as well. By the time I got to the drivers side rear I had a better idea or how to make the cuts and the folds. Im thinking I could tuck some 33's now, at least thats the goal. At full flex with the 31's on theres still some decent room left it looks like. Anyways, thanks for all the info and help guys....

Haha I knew you would say that dude! But anyways thanks for the help man.....I just gotta find some cheap 33's now, retreads maybe? i dunno. the 33's on yours looks real good.

No problem at all. It's funny, I was seriously considering some Treadwright 33s, but I found my MTZs as blems on ebay for a killer price. They were $675 shipped.

Wow!! Can you explain how the rears were done? I badly want to mine exactly like that But all the threads arent helping with the confidence of chopping th XJ. Please do a write Up this!!

It's quite easy.

1. Remove flare (and end cap for 97-01)
2. Make relief cuts one inch apart.
3. Fold relief cuts back with hammer.
4. Paint to cover any bare metal.
5. Optional- Add Protekto trim or what ever you like.

Yea Dude pretty much explained it, its really not that hard to do. And redxjsport, Im pretty much in Suffolk, the "southeast" of va, where you at?

It's been done. You don't even need a writeup (I didn't), but here's one anyway if you can sort thru the BS. And it's not hard.

Start cutting.
