It can be done, and while highly modified, my friend's rig would also have qualified for the Stocker Class based purely on suspension height. Also perhaps those brand of tires that Reelrebel is running measure very small or are worn???
I seen the tread on your friends no lift 33" tired XJ and if I remember there was alot cut off the body too, it was after reading that when I tried to see how much it would take to run 33's and my XJ is trimmed and folded in the front and rear. There was another XJ that was running 33's last year but his was trimmed more then mine and the rear wheel wells were enlarged as well looked like a mini tubs in the rear.
I'm not really saying that it is not done but from the pics it doesn't look trimmed anymore then mine and it looks like he has TJ fender flares on it but they still don't open up the rear wheel wells much more.

I have a stupid question... Since I was in the running and didn't win, am I eligible to run again later? I'm not clear on that. If so, I'll wait till the BB and the tire carrier is on maybe.

Look. The rules were decided. at/under 2 inches, over 3 inches. That was whats fair for a majority of people.
A purpose built daily driver with 2 inches of lift would never beat a rig with 6inches of lift and 33's.

just because someone is loco enough to put 33 inchers under stock height and wheel the snot out of it... we dont have a ringer like that every month.

and yes, i think i voted for el loco

Until I read what was considered in the "stocker" class, I was also like "What the crap?"

I'm sure its strange to some to see a Jeep with a longer modification list win the less modified category...either way, Comanche!!! woo

Wow... I missed this whole fiasco. Congrats Josh! I can testify that it is honestly 2" with those 33's. I've ridden in it, and I took those pictures. It's the real deal. This same little girly fight came up when (jfiscus?) or someone like that won stocker class with 2.5" lift and 33" TSL's. Eh, read the rules and get over it.
