Fatmat Sound Deadening

I'm wondering if anyone has had experience using the regular fatmat vs. the rattletrap version. I'm trying to decide if the rattletrap is worth the extra money. Thanks.

I havent heard of either of those. I was told be an auto uphlostery guy his secrect was this stuff called "qucik roof" You can pick it up at Home Depot or most hardware stores in the roofing section. It is a sticky rubberized roofing patch stuff that comes in a roll. Its about 8 inches wide. Just cut to fit and slightly over lap each strip bout an inch. It goes for less than $20 a roll. Told it works just as good as the fancy soundproofing mats.
