Extended Brake Lines
Hey guys like i said i am going to get the rubicon express 3.5" Super ride kit w/the blocks in the rear and spacers in the front. I was looking over the parts list and it said that it came with a stainless steel extended brake line, does anyone have any advise on how to do this?
Thanks Andrew

Simple - just unscrew the rubber brake line and screw on the extended line. Make sure you keep the connections clean and don't step on them since if you damage them it might not seal. Also when you pull the old ones off there will be a small copper washer. Keep it and reuse it with the new brakeline. After its all done, you'll need to bleed all of the brakes.
Now that I made that sound so easy, usually you need to remove the stock brakeline at the beginning of the lift install, and install the extended ones towards the end, after you have the new coils in. To avoid making a huge mess with the dripping brake fluid, you can insert a Q-tip wrapped in a small piece of plastic to plug the line while you are working on everything else. Just don't force the Q-tip in too hard if it doesn't want to go. Check this link: http://groups.msn.com/XJtecharticles/installingalift.msnw?Page=1&pgmarket=en-us
