It is a hybrid cage with triangulation on the interior, but with the small squares laid out on the roof there was no real need for triangulation. Any pressure put on the roof will likely cause the cage to buckle towards the bottom of the jeep, or accross the jeep. There really isn't much threat of one of those little squares buckling in on itself. Make sense? He could have done it that way, because I guess there is always that chance, but from a safety standpoint I am not worried about it. Also I just think it looks better that way.

I'm pretty sure Heath's bender is a homemade bender with a pro-tools die.
