Exo-cage

I all ready posted this in the Mj section, but I figured I would share what my rig looks like with the XJ crowd. So here you go

Wow

That is a serious Mad Max looking Jeep!

I really like the way you handled the geometry at the front end. And IMHO the windshield bars are wicked looking.

I think now you should add some triangular gussets to the corners around the cage.

Thanks for the compliments.


As for the Gussets, there are some, and we are adding more. I just finished pulling the bed off an Hour ago, and it is going back up to the shop to finish it off. We are going to cut 12" out the frame and tube the whole back end



As for it being lil.. it is sitting on over 6.5' of lift, with 35's. Plans are for d60's next yr, but the cage, fuel cell, and seats, are more of a priority.


As for me rolling it... I plan on a least flopping it next month If you check out this video site, you can see some pics of where I will be wheeling, and what kinda stuff I will be up against. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who isnt afraid of body damage and is running 33's and lockers

6 and a half FEET! Where the heck are you parked to make it look that small :P
