i made the hole that is there, they are flakes from the floor plan....what would be the best way check the integrity of the rails? sandem right down?

Wow that's really low miles for a Jeep of that age. A quick way to make sure the frame rails aren't gone is to give them a little tap with a ball peen hammer or something. Then i'd go at it with a wire wheel. It'll whisk all the rust right off of it.

I assume i dont want the hammer to go through anywhere, otherwise im screwed arent i? I think that my guess will be right and the driver side will be alot worse then the pass side....as the driver side was parked up against the fence...while the pass was faced open....not sure where im going with that though...thanks C.Walker for your input though
