Engine won't start

Hi, new member with question;

I have a 97 grand cherokee with the 4.0 and while at stop light engine just quits like the key was turned off, I have fuel pressure at the rail but had no spark, I have replaced the coil and crank position sensor and still it won't start...what else could it be, is the gap at the crank sensor that critical as it was a pain to change and I am not sure of the gap. Any help would be great.

Thank you,

Jeff

When you replaced the ckp did you remove the felt material from the sensor?

No because the directions said to leave it on and as the engine runs it will remove it, it said that was how you set the gap.
