LED turn signals (from a motor bike store) are below the PIAA lights, and the brightness of the LEDs are crazy:

Correct me if I'm wrong but the main difference in design between what COJeepin has done compared to that orange rig is COJeepin eliminated his front fenders so he could keep the tube closer in. It also looks like the orange rig is using 1.5" tube instead.

Also his hoop is a different design. I like the look of cojeeping squared off short hoop better. Seems to fit the front end much better. Good work on your ride, Id love to see it onces its done and painted!

well if we're going to get nit-picky COJeepin also has a crossbar over the top of the grille, his bars going to the stinger angle down, his diagonals at the rear of the wheel well are a different shape, his isn't tied into a complete exo (yet?), the winch on the orange rig is recessed below the grille, COJeepin is using PIAA lights vs Hella 500s... the angle of the stingers and turn signals are different... and lots of other things.

I wasn't meaning to start some compare and contrast essay, just pointing out the resemblence of what COJeepin is having done to how another badarse rig was built.

It is. I'm hoping to have it done by this summer. I like a lot of what COJeepin has done and will steal a couple of his ideas for mine.

Eric - cool, I will see what you do for the rest of the exo before I finish mine. I am thinking of carrying on up the A-pillar, continuing across the rain gutter to the back. Plate from the tube to rain gutter for some support, a bar across the windshield and one across the back. Joined in through the roof to the B-pillar internal hoop and rear internal hoop. Who knows, it all depends on funds and the time of course.

A couple of pictures from today...

Got the high beam lights connected up (I got 120W bulbs from PIAA in these with a heavy duty KC wiring harness I had from previous lights):

CB Antenna mount (cable not yet connected up):

From further away, tucks the antenna in nicely hopefully not to get ripped off by trees or rocks:

Last pieces to add are some cool plates in the top corners. Pictures coming in a few days

Funny you mention that. My friend suggested that exact thing to me and I've been kicking the idea around. By the way, I am amazed you got your doors back on after denting your B-pillar!

Yeah me too. I used a crowbar to pull the hinges out a little bit because it was bent in from the bottom all the way up. Then used a friends winch line to pull the upper pillar back out. After a few pulls it is out far enough for both doors to seal almost 100%. Had to jiggle the adjustable door hinges a little to line up but both doors are good to go.

Curious on how you are going to paint your exo-cage since it is welded on?

For those who have a cage, is yours removable?
