Electric windows driving me crazy...

First post here, so hello to everyone… I’m having problems with the power windows on my 99 Cherokee. The switches on the rear doors don’t work and all, and the switch on the passenger side front door works intermittently. The master panel on the drivers door works every window fine, except for a intermittent problem with the front passenger side door. Sometimes if I slam the drivers door fairly hard it will make the passenger window work with the master (drivers door) switch again.

I’m thinking that maybe the child protection switch (it has no effect on, or off) has gone bad, and the root of my problem lies with it, or maybe under the master switch panel someplace…

Does anyone here have experience with a similar problem, and if so, please share your wisdom with me and let me know if you think I’m on the right track, or should I be looking elsewhere for the problem… Thanks in advance for any comments you can offer.

I’ll save my question about my front speakers not working for another time…

P.S. I tried the search function, but couldn't come up with anything helpful.

^^^^^^^ Not yet, maybe this weekend if the weather doesn't turn bad, but forecast talks like it will. No Garage access at this time, so I'm kind of dependent on good weather.
