driving without rear driveshaft

my u joint on my rear driveshaft busted and i removed the rear driveshaft. I am not sure what model transfer case I have but my model is an 01 xj sport. can I drive in 4h with my front driveshaft? will the transfer case fluid leak? and are there any potential concerns or issues with driving with just my front driveshaft in 4H.
and in regards to replacing the rear u joint, can I use a front driveshaft u joint for the rear driveshaft? if not whats the best place to quickly order or pick up a u joint?

yes you can, but don't do it for long or at highway speeds

Later XJ TCs are sealed and won't leak. Local parts stores should have ujoints in stock.

I drove for a week or so once w/o causing any issues (that I know of...).
You can drive at highway speeds, just avoid jack rabbit starts.
