Driveshaft length.

I've been running a 3 inch Superlift for a few months now and have recently went to 32 inch BFGs. They rub quite a bit espectially when off roading.

I ordered the Daystar spacer/shackle 2 inch lift and with that ordered a pair of Rustys LCA's, they measure exactly 1/2 inch longer than stock, and a adjustable trackbar.

Anyways, so I guess im looking at somewhere just short of 5 inches of lift, will I need to put a yoke off a wrangler on it? Or have the DS lenghened? If so, how much?

I'm guessing that you will still be ok. If the driveshaft falls off, you know its too short!

Depending on wether you get vibes or not, you may need a SYE. If thats the case I wouldn't bother at all with extending your driveshaft or putting on a long-travel yoke. All of that would be remedied with a SYE and CV driveshaft. You probably notice thats what I am always recommending to people. Thats because I think its far better to spend the money once and do it right. Transfer case drops, lengthening driveshafts, and long-travel yokes are all possible solutions that may help, but the SYE is almost always the best solution.

Well I just finished installing the lift and everything bolted up OK. The DS seems to have plenty of yoke left so thats not a problem.

The only trouble I had was the trackbar. I couldnt get the ball joint broke loose from the frame. Bout beat my hand numb hangin onto that pickle bar. Oh well, its gonna need an alignment anyways, so I will just have them install that and get that axle centered up when they do the alignment.

I took it for a test drive real quick and everything seems smooth. It's gettin past 2am so I will look/listen closer tomorrow.
