Downstream O2 sensor wiring

A few weeks ago, some chumps decided they needed my catalytic converter more than I did and relieved me of it. I just got done fixing their mess and getting a nice new shiny one installed with a new downstream o2s. Problem is, they tore off the clip that lines up all the wires coming from the jeep (wherever that bundle goes into the depths of the machine) I've been playing around trying to figure out how they go, but the ol' girl refuses to turn over.

From the jeep comes an orange/white, green/orange, black/blue, and black/white wire and the o2s has a white, gray, and two blacks. I've only tried a few configurations, but all it does is crank over.

Near as I can tell, they only cut the cat and scraped up the bottom - no damage to fuel lines, thank God.

Anything else I should be looking for?

Thanks!

The engine cranks/turns over by the starter motor but doesn't start/run???? Don't think the downstream O2 would have anything to do with that.

+1 downstream O2 shouldn't have any effect on that unless a serious short blew the PCM out.

Do you get spark?

thanks for the replies.

I'm assuming i've got a spark. It had a heavy fuel smell the first time i cranked her over. I'll check the PCM, but I don't think shes suffered any electrical trauma...

Test for spark, and make sure when you were taking care of that wiring you did not disconnect something like the NSS or CPS.

Would say try giving it a bit of gas when you start it for the first time after a reset, but if you got fuel smell, you must have no spark. If it isnt Air or Fuel, its Spark.

Ran through all the checks and everything looks good. Then I say to myself, "Hey derphead, have you checked the fuses?" Lo and behold, in the power control center, there's a mini 30 amp fuse that's gone boom. Look it up and, no biggie, it's just the one that makes the computer and the ICM talk to each other :

Lesson today? Check the cheap stuff first.
