my friend has a 98 xj. i have a 94. i did the doorless mod. i was checking out his truck to see how to do it on his and the hinge is way different. it doesnt look like i can do the same thing for him that i did with mine (cut the bottom of the hinge). how do you go doorless on a 98?

I had to cut through the middle of the pin, and then with a screw driver wedged both ends out. It does take quite a bit of time. Gimme a sec and I'll try to find sharpie's writeup.
