DML Tire Calculator

I used the DML tire calculator and it doesn't jibe anywhere close to what I have on my XJ. Can someone tell me what is the max width I can put on a stocker, height is negotiable since this thing will be used mainly for snow, ice, and not-too-deep mud.

Right now I'm running 235/70-15 on 15x8 Grand Cherokee wheels.

I know the width of the wheels has a bit to do with how the tires spread, but I'm concerned with backspacing change without a lift. If I change wheels I'll go with the back steelies.

Anyone have thoughts... Other than, "This guy needs to get a life?"

Any help appreciated.

just stick to your 235's. You won't find much wider in stock size tires.
