Did some wheelin' today :)

Yep, me and my friend (wish she was my GF, long story... ) went out to my property which is around 45-50 minutes away to see if the 30-acre field was mowed; I'm wanting to throw a party out there this Sunday so having it cut short would be nice; thank god it was...

Anyway, all the roads are rough gravel plus there was a little bit of mud (it's been REALLY dry in MO lately so it was kinda cool to see mud); also the way into my property was actually a challenge; I had to pick a line! It was pretty fun; she loved it.

The thing I noticed:

1.) My XJ flexes REALLY well; i didn't even disconnect the swaybar since I wasn't really "wheelin'" for awhile; just a little bit

2.) M/Ts do real good in gravel; they hook up and slide nicely

3.) OME SHOCKS ROCK! OMG, driving down rough gravel roads at 35MPH (any quicker and I'd slide beyond my comfort level)... I didn't feel much at all; all I heard was rocks flying into my fender wells. I am SO glad I got those shocks. Plus, when cruising along my field, it was nice to not be bouncing around all over the place since the ground wasn't smooth by any means.

I had a real good time. I wish I could have snapped some action pics but all I have is the after shots. I'll post them up tomorrow. The Jeep isn't "really dirty"; but it's got enough crap on it to look aggressive; I think it looks nicer clean, but cooler dirty.

I'll have even more fun at the party Sunday!

Uh, read carefully next time and you'll see that I said tomorrow I'll at least post some pics of my Jeep after fourwheelin'; I didn't take any action pictures because she didn't want to get out and take any and I wasn't about to let her drive offroad in MY Jeep...

Sorry guys; hopefully I'll get some action pics this weekend since it's the same place.

Uh, on paper, sure. The MAIN roads were rough gravel but the tiny road (well trail) leading into my property was pretty technical.

Like I said, nothing crazy by any means; but it was still fun. I'm still hoping for a G2G or something at an offroad park so I can hit some *real trails*.
