Death Shake when applying Brakes
Well I deliver pizzas and have been going through rotors really quickly because all of the driving I do. Anyways, lately when I brake from around 50 or faster I get a very bad shaking from the the front end. It usually goes away when I let off the brakes but sometimes this will happen when I go over a big bump. It feels like one of my wheels is wobbling and about to fall off. Really scary.... Could a bad alignment combined with warped rotors cause a violent shaking like this? I have noticed one of my front tires is wearing on the outside edge alot faster then the other, although the rig still tracks straight. I also thought maybe one of my tie rod ends was about to go, so I jacked up the front end, but can feel no play at all. I am at a loss, I will probably replace the rotors since I have a 2 year warranty on them as well as get an alignment. Anything that I am missing? Thanks.

Check your ball joints. Jack each side up seperately and pay close attendtion to the ball joints. If the top of the knuckle pulls up and away from the ball joint then they are bad, Once up, push against the top of the tire and feel for looseness. There should be none at all.
Make sure the lug nuts are torqued to 100ft/lbs and not more than that. Too much torque on teh nuts will lead to warping.
