Is it possible to use the area on the right of the guage cluster for switches? Like where the wagoneer diagnostic center goes.

Short answer, YES. It's blank and comes out fairly easily for mounting the switches.

yah like he said there is nothing back there, its a great place for a switch.
The only person that i have ever seen that has done that is rastacody, hes in the street forum alot.
But if your open to other ideas:

I was thinking of mounting a switch panel on the headliner between the two sunvisors
Anyone have any pics of that?

I have a cb and a keyless entery thing there so the fitch style one wouldnt work for me. And i never used that little cubby hole space anyways

Yea, I have the keyless entry thing...I took it off and had to modify my mounting brackets to move the box forward to cover the huge hole that's left from the entry module.

It looks different then that in a 96 tho... it's a square block. one of my buddys has 2 switches there, looks good. Another has a trans temp gauge there... proof there is empty space there.

Wow those switches FitchVA has are top notch!
Here's where I have my ARBs. Its a tight fit, but very convenient spot for them.
