D30 Detroit Vs. Powertrax

I want to put a locker in the front differential of my D30. I think its the most practical choice because It is still my daily driver and will remain that way for a while, therefor as long as I'm not in 4WD, the locker isn't on either.

So my question is which is the easiest to put in, the detroit EZ Locker or the Powertrax Lock-Right. It will be my first install of a locker, also my first opening of a differential, so I'm looking for something that will go in easily. On a side note, which is better? The powertrax is more expensive, but that doesn't mean better.

Lastly, is there anyone in the Deland, Fl. vicinity that would be interested in helping with the install. Perhaps even the install of my lift when funds are available. ( the locker might be on the christmas list, and will most likely be the first thing in the truck as I piece together the rest of the build-up.)

Thanks, JC.

The easiet to install would be the Powertrax. Its not that easy though, you still have to pull out the carrier and take off the ring gear, but as long as you remember where each nut, bolt, and part went, then there will be no issues. I'd suggest having a pro do a Detriot, but thats just me.

BTW, I have a Powertrax No-slip front and rear, so if you need any install quesions, feel free to ask
